I think it can be a really fun activity during your winter break good to break out even before Christmas! I would say the game is a good choice for ages 7 and up. The seasons are changing and Olaf is melting Move your Olaf token through all kinds of trouble to be the last player without a fully melted Olaf A Frozen themed reimplementation of the Milton Bradley game Ice Cube, players move ice cube-based Olaf tokens around the board trying not to melt while trying to hasten the melting of their opponents through the use of water, salt and other means. I agree games should be designed for their intended market but I doubt a game as generic as Trouble was going to have a designed or specified dice. It was all a bit too much for my kids, so we stripped the game of most of the rules and just enjoyed traveling around the board. My point is that Asian dice have red ones, this game was produced in China, and so that is the most likely reason since there is nothing in the game design to suggest 1 has a special meaning. There are particular rules about who can go when certain numbers are rolled and rules about what happens when you land on the same space, and rules about how an avalanche can occur. I will say that the rules are a bit complicated for a 5-year-old (or at least for mine) and the box does say ages 5+. The game is designed for 2-4 players, and the player options are Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Sven.
